Yari Ballpoint Pen Hardware

With this well-made hardware, you can create an attractive, durable ballpoint pen. High-quality platings yield a crisply detailed, uniform surface and a precise fit between parts, combining ease of assembly with trouble-free function.

Named for the Japanese word for “spear,” the sleek half-twist Yari pen has contrasting platings, including some made of Hardite, an exceptionally wear-resistant alloy. It comes with black ink and takes Parker-style refills.

Requires a standard “A” mandrel, a bushing set, a 25/64" drill bit and a minimum 3/4" × 2 3/4" pen blank, all sold separately. Because mishaps can occur during turning or assembly, we also offer brass replacement tubes.
