Parachute cord, or paracord, is widely used for both camping and crafts as it’s strong and durable yet smooth, supple and easy to work with. We put together this set to provide both the supplies and the know-how needed to create an impressive array of functional items from paracord. The set comes with three 50' spools of high-quality paracord and a popular 48-page how-to book covering braids, knots and other techniques.
The book gives clear step-by-step instructions for 12 projects, showing you how to use those techniques to make a survival bracelet, tool grips, a water bottle holder, a belt, a keychain and more. In addition, the set includes a selection of what are known to paracord-craft buffs as "findings" – the various components needed to complete the projects.
These are well-made parts, packaged in appropriate quantities to support the projects in the book: six 10mm quick-release buckles, two 5mm breakaway closures, three 5/8" swivel clasps, three 1" rings and one 1" frame buckle. (Clasps, rings and buckles are nickel-plated steel; the rest are polypropylene.) A great craft set that’s both fun and functional.
