Ideal backings for our magnet cups and washers, these high-friction discs are made of a soft, non-marring acrylic material. Cut slightly undersize (0.025") to the outside dimensions of our magnet cups and washers, they have a high-tack adhesive backing capable of withstanding high shear loads, even at elevated temperatures (to 140°F). Made in USA.
They stick to our rare-earth magnet cups and washers to add a soft, high-friction face that prevents slipping and won't mar the surface beneath. When a magnet and washer are used as a door latch, the disc serves as a shock absorber/silencer and can be attached to either the magnet or the washer.
The high-tack adhesive withstands high shear loads, even at temperatures up to 140°F.
They come in sizes to match our magnet cups and washers. The sizes available are: 3/8" disc for a 1/4" magnet, 1/2" disc for a 3/8" magnet, 5/8" disc for a 1/2" magnet, a 3/4" disc for a 5/8" magnet, 7/8" disc for a 3/4" magnet, and 1 1/8" disc for a 1" magnet.
Each pack includes 10 discs of one size.
