This locking system works with Movento or Tandem slides to turn your sliding shelf into a stationary work surface. Useful in any room, it lets you hide a reading desk in your bookcase or a folding table in your linen closet – it can even transform a drink cabinet into a serviceable bar.
Easy to use, the locking mechanism is designed to work with one hand. It engages automatically when the shelf is pulled out, locking it firmly in place. To release it, just flip the tab and slide the shelf back into the cabinet.
Left and right locking units are installed at the rear underside of the shelf, while two latches mount near the front underside. A synchronization rod connects the locking units, allowing them to release with a single motion. The rod is cut to size to fit the width of your cabinet.
Mounting screws included. Consider dynamic load capacities carefully before installation. Movento can carry up to 88 lb and Tandem up to 75 lb.
