When you add ordinary tap water, the clock begins to utilize the water’s naturally occurring positive and negative ions, producing clean energy that will keep the clock running for 4 to 12 months. The LCD screen shows a 12 or 24 hour clock, and you can set an hourly chime or a daily alarm.
When the clock's display begins to fade, simply pour out the old water and refill. It retains your settings for up to two minutes while the clock is refilled – no batteries required.
