A traditional material in upholstery, this 100% natural jute webbing is woven for strength and maintains its shape under tension with minimal stretch.
Offered in a 3 1/2" width, it provides a firm, non-elastic base suitable for seat construction. During installation, the webbing is stretched taut in a crisscross pattern and fastened to the frame with tacks or staples, forming the support layer beneath seat padding. The material cuts cleanly with shears.
