On the lowest setting, it emits 100 lumens to light nearby objects without wasting power. At 330 lumens, the medium setting offers ample light to work by, read a map, or see the trail ahead, while the high setting produces a powerful 770-lumen beam – brighter than is typically needed for close tasks indoors, but invaluable when you need a light bright enough to illuminate over larger distances. It also has an emergency flash setting.
The beam can be set as a narrow 35° spotlight to focus on a small target area, or as a wide-angle 60° floodlight to bathe a broad area in light.
Its rugged water-resistant housing (IP rating 6) stands up to plenty of hard use. It has an ergonomic pistol-style handgrip that permits a more comfortable, natural wrist position than a conventional flashlight, and the clever fold-out design forms a stable tripod that lets you stand the light up on flat surfaces for hands-free use.
Powered by a lithium-ion battery that recharges in just over 3 hours, the light runs for about 1 1/2 to 6 hours on a single charge, depending on the brightness setting. A compartment in the housing permits onboard storage of the included USB charging cable, so you know where to find it when you need it.
