This is a practical and affordable magnifier.
The 3 1/4" × 2" lens is particularly useful for reading small text or scales, as it magnifies 2X and minimizes spherical distortion on the long axis. A 3/4" diameter circular area in the lower right corner provides a 6.5X close-up capability.
The right underside of the frame has two LED lights that are spaced to minimize any shadowing, powered by three LR1130 button cells (not included). The handle folds for storage and houses the on/off switch.
This magnifier would be at home in any shop, medicine cabinet or kitchen “junk” drawer.
