It runs for up to 3 hours on the highest setting or 9 hours on low, powered by an internal lithium-ion battery that recharges in 3 to 4 hours and holds 2,600mAh. (In addition to the USB input, it has an output port, so you can use the stored power to boost a cellphone in an emergency.)
The fan stands 10" tall when docked in the non-slip base, or it can be removed for handheld use. The 4" diameter head can be detached from the stem so the entire unit can be slipped into the pocket of a jacket or backpack. Comes with a wrist lanyard and a 32" USB charge cable.
