Combining luck, logic and a little friendly competition, Double Fives is a strategic board game that has been enjoyed in various forms and under different names for decades.
This version is custom made for us, handcrafted in Canada by a small, family-owned company from Canadian hard maple and Baltic birch. The 20 1/2" square board features precision-cut channels that hold the glass gems during play, and the lines, numbers and other graphics are branded directly into the wood's surface, so they remain sharp and legible even after years of use. Handsomly finished, it has dovetailed corners that add strength and finesse to a piece you'll gladly leave on display.
It includes two decks of our playing cards, three sets of coloured glass gems and simple instructions. It also comes with two zippered storage bags, a smaller one for the pieces and a larger one to hold complete game for storage or transport.
