Here’s an engaging kit for building your own kaleidoscope with an added twist. It lets you assemble a wooden version of the classic toy and experiment using small dry items that are close at hand such as pebbles, bits of leaves or peppercorns to create patterns. You can take its viewing case apart whenever you want to exchange the objects inside.

About 7 1/2" long, it is easily assembled using only a screwdriver – no glue required. Instructions included. For ages 8 and up.
