While there's no such thing as truly “all-purpose” shears, these come very close. In our tests, they cut cleanly through a wide variety of materials, from rope and cardboard to leather, carpeting and even thin sheet metal.
An obvious choice for the workshop, they're also well worth having in the kitchen, garden shed or anywhere fine scissors or pruners are commonly subject to misuse. The 2 1/2" hardened stainless-steel blades are ground with micro-serrations on one blade to help prevent stubborn materials from slipping or twisting as you cut. Usable right- or left-handed, they have a spring-return hinge to reduce effort and contoured plastic handles with a cushioning TPR coating for a sure, comfortable grip.
Measuring 7 3/4" overall, this is a tough, no-nonsense tool, available at a great price while quantities last.
