Developed by renowned woodturner Ashley Harwood, this simple device makes it easy to set your grinder rest for sharpening her tools to the recommended edge geometry.

There are references for four angles: 40° (push-cut bowl gouges), 20° (negative rake scrapers and vortex tool), plus 50° and 60° for the bottom-finishing bowl gouge. Each face has an embedded magnet for attaching to a ferrous tool rest, keeping your hands free to make adjustments.

A cut-out serves as a wrench for the bolsters on the Harwood tools to provide additional leverage when attaching to or removing them from their handle.

Made in USA of anodized aluminum.
