62W3114 – Set of 4 Iwasaki Draw Files
Offered as a set of four, these smooth, fast-cutting files are used with a controlled two-handed grip.
Skewed at a slight angle as they are drawn toward you with both hands, they let you apply considerable force with little effort.
Heat-treated to remain sharp through long use, the teeth shear wood fibers rather than abrading them, creating shavings instead of dust. The single-cut, diagonal groove pattern helps clear shavings to the side, reducing clogging.
Measuring 8" overall with toothed portions about 2" wide and a textured coating at the ends for grip, they are recommended for use on hardwood and softwood as well as plastics and other synthetic materials. The set includes bastard (coarse) and medium tooth patterns on flat and half-round blades.
Excellent files that belong in any carver’s tool kit. Made in Japan.
Each of the files is also available individually.
