Gränsfors Hunter’s Axe

Hand made by professional smiths in a small factory in Sweden, Gränsfors axes are a pleasure to use. They have grace, heft and balance that reflect good design and craftsmanship.

The hunter's axe, with a gently rounded and polished flay poll, is specially made for skinning game. Also suitable for chopping wood, it has a 3 1/4" face, a 1.5 lb head, and an 18 1/2" handle.

Each axe is marked with the initials of the smith who forged it, and is fully honed, ready for use. Supplied with a full-grain leather case and an informative booklet outlining proper usage, cutting techniques and care instructions.
