E.C. Emmerich Primus Jack Plane

This 10" long jack plane has a red beech body with a hornbeam sole and a fixed mouth opening. With a 48mm (about 1 7/8") wide blade and 45° bed angle, it can surface wide, rough boards.

The Primus screw-feed blade-adjustment mechanism has no lost motion, which makes adjustment accurate and easy.

A left-hand version, differentiated by its left-biased horn-shaped handle, is also available.

A good all-purpose wooden plane made in Germany.
