About Veritas seconds: this stock of the 1/2" straight blade (05P3804) has some minor cosmetic flaw; performance of the blade is not affected. Quantities of seconds are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
This high-carbon steel router plane blade fits our Veritas large and medium router planes and our Veritas hinge mortise plane, as well as Stanley #71 router planes (with the height-adjustment nut inverted).
The nominal 1/2" blade has a two-piece design.
