27K2301 - Stainless-Steel Side Cutters

Quantity:
Over the years, we’ve offered many different sets of jeweller’s tools, and the single tool I end up reaching for the most out of the set is the side cutter. Invariably, it’s to cut zip ties or remove packaging (anyone who’s had to open a child’s packaged Barbie set will immediately understand).
We’ve all tried to snip zip ties using the tip of a pair of scissors; it usually doesn’t work, as scissors are designed for bypass cutting, and thicker material spreads the blades. These side cutters are just the ticket.
The box-joint stainless-steel cutters are a bit over 4 1/2" long with 1/2" long jaws. The tapered nose makes it easy to cut flush against or next to a surface, and the jaws are sprung open.
They are clearly hand finished from forgings and exhibit signs of irregular grinding, dimension and geometry. Yours may not look exactly like the photo, but it will work just as well! They are like fingerprints – no two are identical.
