Special buy. Limited stock.

While conventional pocket-hole jigs speed the drilling and driving steps, this one also greatly simplifies set-up by automatically matching the hole position and drilling depth to the thickness of any stock from 1/2" to 1 1/2".

As the jig’s caliper-like spacer jaw opens to fit over the edge of the workpiece, the sliding fence self-adjusts, offsetting the drill guide the correct distance from the edge of the work. In the same step, it positions the depth-stop collar on the drill bit, and a pointer on the side of the jig indicates the correct screw length to use. Removing the drill guide block from the spacer jaw then locks the fence to allow consistent, repeatable hole positioning on any stock of matching thickness.

Two hardened-steel drill-guide bushings spaced 3/4" apart on center are set in a cast aluminum-alloy drill guide block with cushioning strips on the underside to help resist shifting. You can use various types of clamps (not included) to hold the jig in position while you drill; if used with a steel face-frame clamp, the jig’s built-in magnets let you link the jig and clamp together as a unit, so you can quickly move from one drilling location to the next.

The jig comes with a 6" HSS stepped drill bit with a 1/8" pilot, 3/8" counterbore and 1/4" quick-change hex shank, a 6" S2 steel #2 Robertson driver bit, a depth collar and a hex key.

All parts except the driver bit fit neatly inside the 5" × 2 1/4" × 1 5/8" jig body for storage.
