This 36" × 48" plan is complemented with a detailed and well-written instruction book that contains a bill of materials, a cutting list, jig and fixture plans (where necessary), alternative construction notes, and suggested finishing techniques. A worthwhile investment in a successful project.

The gateleg table originated in the first half of the 18th century. Its wooden hinge establishes its true American origin. When complete, this table measures 29" high by 42" wide; 18" folded and 55" extended.
