With 82° points to match the head profile of standard flat-head and oval-head screws, these three-flute countersinks cut cleanly with minimal chatter. The set includes 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" diameter bits for countersinking #2 to #12 screws in hardwood, plastic, brass or other non-ferrous metals.
They are particularly useful for ensuring you have a neat, gap-free fit for whichever screws you have at hand. They can also be used to remove the burr left when drilling metal, slightly chamfering the edge of the hole.
