Description

Much like the GRS-16 model, this attachment greatly improves speed and accuracy when making square cuts with a track saw. Easily mounted to a Festool track-saw guide, it essentially converts your guide rail into a large try square, providing an accurately square surface to register against the edge of your work.

But unlike the single-face GRS-16, this version has two machined reference faces, so it can be used on either the front or back edge of a panel, useful when cutting panels with profiled or bevelled edges, or in other situations where the front edge of the panel cannot be used for reliable registration.

It simply slides into the T-slot on the underside of the rail and locks firmly in position using an integral draw clamp, which hooks onto the lip on the edge of the rail and pulls the guide rail square tightly against it. The CNC-machined anodized aluminum body provides a 15 3/4" long, 5/8" thick registration surface for a reliable 90° reference against a panel edge, and has a small notch in the underside to accommodate a track-saw guide clamp.

For breaking down sheet goods or other applications where the square is registered on the front edge of a panel, you can hook your thumb into the cutout in the body to brace the square snug against your work throughout the cut, and the low-profile body won’t obstruct your movement.

Compatible with Festool track-saw guides as well as those made by Triton, Makita, Powertec and Milwaukee. Made in USA.
