These double-flute spiral carbide bits have a downward cutting action that cleanly shears cross-grain fibers with little to no top surface tear-out, ensuring sharply defined edges.
Ideal for pocketing, mortising, profiling, cut-outs and milling, each has a micro-thin ceramic coating to prevent high heat and oxidation, which helps the cutting edge retain its sharpness.
The 1/4" diameter bit is highly versatile, performing the majority of router cuts, whereas the 1/8" diameter bit facilitates narrower pockets and mortises and allows cut-out components to be placed closer together on a panel for increased yield. Both have 1/4" shanks.
