A less hefty alternative to the regular holder, the field holder weighs 1.43 lb (650g). When it is turned upside down, three glass stones can be stacked between the feet, convenient for storage or transport. In use, it holds Kuromaku or GS stones to give a working surface height of 2 3/8" (60mm).
