This sander lets you work deliberately and predictably, whether easing a joint or an edge, fitting an inlay or refining a carved detail. Measuring 150mm × 50mm, it is suitable for sanding broad, flat areas. The cast aluminum handle’s narrow grip sits comfortably in the hand for fingertip control, and its rear-biased shape keeps your hand behind the leading edge, so the work stays in view.

The raised-point pattern of the steel plate abrades in any direction, resists loading in hard and soft woods, and renews easily with a quick brush. The sander is also safe edged, meaning that you can work one surface without marring one adjacent to it.

It comes with a medium (240x) plate. Spare medium and coarse (120x) plates are available separately. Grit designations are approximate.

Made in Japan.

We also offer a narrow rectangular version of the sander for longer, confined stretches or easing edges, and a tapered version for detail work. A set of all three is available at a saving compared to buying them individually.
