Iridium is Mirka’s premium paper-backed abrasive for universal sanding. It has a mix of ceramic and aluminum oxide grains on a flexible paper with precision coating that prevents clogging and reduces pilling. The effective 54-hole pattern delivers outstanding dust extraction and a clean work environment.
The eight available grits are 60x, 80x, 120x, 150x, 180x, 240x, 320x and 400x, priced per sheet.
The sheets are best used with a platen protector (sold separately), which prevents damage to the platen’s hook facing and further improves airflow to the collection holes. An optional 0.28" (1/4") thick foam interface pad is available for contoured surfaces (can also be used with a platen protector).
Made in Finland.
A sample pack of 18 sheets (three each of 80x, 120x, 180x, 240x, 320x and 400x) is offered separately.
