Masur Birch (Betula spp.) – The name describes a distinctively marbled grain figure seen in downy birch, silver birch and other European birch species. Also known as Karelian birch, it combines characteristics of burl and bird’s-eye patterns, with light tan-colored wood mottled with dark brown streaks. Typically straight grained and fine textured, it turns and finishes well.

Nominal measurements are 3/4" square by 5" long.
