Argentine Osage Orange Hobby Wood Blanks

Quantity:

Argentine Osage Orange (Maclura tinctoria) – A light golden to bright yellow that darkens to brown over time, this fine- to medium-textured wood can have straight or interlocked grain. It is generally considered hard to work due to its hardness and density, although it turns and stains well, and doesn’t tend to dull tools rapidly.

Available in three sizes suitable for small turnings, these blanks can also be useful when you need only a small amount of wood, such as for inlays, plugs, splines or other decorative accents.

Sizes listed are nominal. As with most natural materials, minor variations in dimensions, color, texture and other characteristics are to be expected.
