Placed in any enclosed space, this pad provides continuous corrosion protection for up to 2 years.
The material contains VpCI (vapor phase corrosion inhibitor), which gives off a harmless vapor that forms an invisible crystal barrier on ferrous and non-ferrous metals to help prevent the surface from oxidizing, even in areas that would be hard to reach with wipe-on or spray treatments.
The 8" × 8" foam sheet protects a total of 8 cubic feet and can be cut to fit multiple smaller spaces, such as drawers and toolbox or tackle box compartments (1 sq.in. of foam for 216 cu.in. of volume).
