Grip discs and hockey pucks can be used to make a non-slip work standoff.

Quantity:
A hockey puck may seem like a strange object to use as a work standoff, but we found it to be just the right size for the application. At 3" in diameter by 1" thick and weighing 6 oz, a puck is both wide and heavy enough to make a stable platform.
To make them non-skidding, we had grip discs punched from high-friction material backed with a high-shear, pressure-sensitive adhesive; just apply a disc to each face and your hockey puck is transformed into a “bench puck” that can be used to elevate work for better access.
This set includes four pucks – the same top-quality Slovakian-made pucks widely used in North American amateur-league play – and eight grip discs, enough to make four bench pucks.
The pucks and grip discs are also available on their own, so you can reuse any old pucks you may have.
