88F1204 - Oversize Rubber Bands
Made from tough, resilient natural rubber, these bands have a soft, slightly irregular texture that resists slippage on smooth finished surfaces. Stretched across a surface, they distribute clamping force evenly, avoiding risk of starved joints or damage caused by excess pressure on a single point of contact.
The 3/4" wide bands come in 7", 10" and 12" nominal circumferences. The set of 12 includes four of each size. They can be wrapped around the work multiple times to apply tension as needed, or two or more bands can be looped together to form a longer band.
Highly flexible (both literally and figuratively), they have many uses in the shop.
