Inventors of the original anvil pruner, Löwe has been producing high-quality pruners since 1923. The pruners cut exceptionally well with little force. Suitable for right- or left-handed users, they have sturdy steel bodies that are chrome plated for rust resistance, and hardened steel blades that are precision ground to a keen edge. The handles have a soft rubberized coating.
Designed after the original Löwe anvil pruner, model #1.104 has a 2 3/8” blade, suitable for material up to 1” in diameter, and is 8” long overall. Model #8.104 combines an anvil-style cutting action with a head shape similar to that of a bypass pruner. The long, curved shape of the single blade and matching anvil helps grip the material, preventing it from twisting out of the jaws. The slim design also permits detail cuts close to the stalk or in confined spots. It is 8 1/4” long with a 2 1/2” blade that can cut material up to 1” in diameter.
