Description
This Wi-Fi rain gauge provides accurate rainfall insights in real time through an app, so you know exactly how much rainwater your garden is receiving and can set your watering schedule accordingly.
It measures rainfall in inches or millimetres, with data transmitted to the app every 3 minutes (390' maximum range) from a self-draining tip bucket. This data is transmitted through your home Wi-Fi to the app, which can be monitored from a smartphone or tablet. The app includes an easy-to-read water graph that indicates the number of days with and without rain. You can also cycle through rainfall history for the last hour, 24 hours, week, month or year and view current and forecast weather conditions.
Used as an accessory for the Wi-Fi one-zone or two-zone water timer (sold separately), it comes with three screws for easy installation in a fencepost or deck and operates on three AA batteries (not included).
It requires the use of a controller (sold separately), which connects the rain gauge to your home Wi-Fi.
