This laser measure is straightforward to use, with soft-touch control buttons, a large display screen and bright LED backlight. You can select four measurement modes: linear distance, area calculation, volume calculation or a triangulation setting that calculates vertical distances that would otherwise be difficult to measure.
It also logs the last three measurements for reference, and can be set to add successive measurements.
Distances up to 40m (131') can be measured and displayed in decimal metres, decimal feet, decimal inches, or fractional feet and fractional inches, accurate to ±2mm (1/16").
It is approximately 4 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide by just under 1" thick, runs on two AAA batteries (Batteries Included) and has an auto shut-off to conserve power.
