If you’ve ever had a downspout extension crushed, you’ll know how easily the thin aluminum deforms. This insert reinforces that vulnerable section so it can withstand the routine impacts that often bend or collapse it.
Made in Canada from rigid PVC with flexible thermoplastic ribs, it fits inside a standard 2" × 3" downspout extension, with the ribs conforming to the interior walls to resist shifting. Installed with the open side facing down, it strengthens the extension without restricting water flow or trapping debris.
The insert measures 2" high by 3" wide, is 6" long, and installs in seconds with no tools.
