SawStop T-Glide Advance Fence for Professional Cabinet & Contractor Saws

Item undefined, undefined

This item is not available for this region.

Compatible with their professional cabinet and contractor (PCS and CNS) table saws, SawStop’s adaptation of the classic Unifence* improves safety and accuracy when making rip cuts, as well as when crosscutting smaller workpieces.

It consists of a rigid steel carriage paired with a 34 3/4" × 1 1/8" × 2 3/4" tall extruded aluminum face that can be mounted on either side of the carriage for use to the right or left of the saw blade. In either position, the face can be oriented vertically for typical applications or set horizontally when working with narrow materials, serving as a low-profile fence that won't obstruct your push stick or your saw’s blade guard. Set horizontally, the fence face can be inverted for use as an L-fence for flush-trimming and straight-edging stock. It can also slide forwards or backwards in any orientation, allowing you to position it in front of the blade, creating space to prevent your offcut from becoming trapped between the blade and the fence. On the front of the fence face, a dovetail track lets you mount jigs, stock guides and other accessories that fit a 1/2" slot.

The carriage mounts to the saw table with the same guide rails as the original fence, so it’s easy to install. It travels on roller bearings that permit fast, smooth adjustment, and locks firmly in position with sturdy cam clamps. For accurate, repeatable positioning, the front rail has a built-in scale marked with Imperial and metric graduations, with separate cursors for the horizontal and vertical face positions.

An excellent complement to the SawStop system, it is also available in a version that’s compatible with SawStop’s industrial cabinet table saw.

* Long hailed as one of the most practical table saw fences ever made, the Delta Unifence had a movable face that could be set horizontally or vertically to suit the thickness of the work and could slide back and forth on the main body of the fence. When positioned ahead of the blade, it created space that prevented the offcut from binding between the blade and the fence, reducing risk of kickback. That combination of safety and cut control is what made the Unifence a benchmark design – and why SawStop chose to build on it here.
