Our regular Japanese knife kits include well-defined handle scales to make assembly as simple as possible; in this kit, the handles are unshaped to give you more liberty in the design of the knife.
- 5" × 1 1/8" × 5/16" scales are unfinished beech, with pre-drilled holes for assembly and a routed blade recess
- 3 3/4" blade has a thumb rest that prevents accidental closure and provides a bearing surface for heavy cuts
- Includes stainless-steel Chicago bolts to affix the handle scales
