This excellent radio is pocket sized to travel along with you. With a digital AM/FM tuner as well as weather-band channels, it receives signals from climate monitoring centers throughout North America to provide forecasts as well as official weather watches, warnings and advisories for your area, 24 hours a day. Its rich LCD screen makes it easy to find your frequency, set the clock and use the programmable alarm to wake up to your favorite station.
An external telescoping antenna helps bring in a clear signal for FM and weather bands, while an internal antenna allows you to rotate the device to get better reception on AM frequencies. For listening on your own, there is a 3.5mm earphone jack. Approximately 4" tall by 2 3/4" wide by 1/2" thick, the radio runs on two AAA batteries (not included) or by using an AC plug-in adapter (not included). Comes with its own travel pouch.
