Description

With these miter bars, you can create an array of sliding jigs for table saws, bandsaws, router tables and other power-tool tables with ease and precision.

Unlike typical table-slot runners, they use an adjustment mechanism that’s tightened from above, so you can fine-tune the fit without having to remove the jig from your table’s miter slot. This makes it a quick, straightforward process to eliminate lateral play in the slot, so jigs remain reliably square to the cutter.

Once set, the low-friction runners slide freely in any standard 3/4" wide by 3/8" deep miter slot. Each is made of a rigid fiberglass-reinforced polymer with excellent dimensional stability, so humidity or temperature changes won’t compromise the exacting fit. Three brass inserts tapped with 8-32 threaded holes are spaced along the 9" body to let you mount jigs, handles or other components (three machine screws included).

We offer the miter bars individually for bandsaws, router tables or other machine tables that have a single miter slot, as well as in pairs for use on table saws or other machine tables with two miter slots. Pairs of miter bars come with two miter stops (also sold separately) that permit precise, repeatable stopped cuts for blind dados and slotting, each with a threaded insert for mounting stationary fixtures such as hold-downs or featherboards.
