Founded in 1981, Misenheimer has built its reputation supplying precision tooling to woodworkers, cabinetmakers and CNC operators. Made in the USA from solid carbide and honed on 600x diamond wheels, these bits cut with a continuous shearing action to reduce chatter, leaving crisp, clean edges with minimal tear-out.
Their helical down-cut flutes draw chips toward the tip, leaving a clean edge on the face of the work that’s nearest the shank. For minimal material removal and shallow cuts, a down-cut bit is often preferable but typically requires slower travel to ensure adequate chip clearance.
Available in seven sizes, with cut diameters ranging from 1/8" to 1/2". The three smallest sizes have 1/4" shanks, the 3/8" bit is shanked to size, and the three largest sizes have 1/2" shanks.
