Accurate and efficient, this moving fillister plane has changed little through the centuries. Guided by integral fences, it has a wedged high-carbon steel blade (hardened to Rc58) that is quickly and easily adjusted.The plane is equipped with a depth stop and produces rabbets up to 1 1/4" wide by 7/8" deep for a multitude of uses, such as frame-and-panel work, furniture carcasses, breadboard cleats, or boatbuilding.It has a European beech body with durable hornbeam sole and a scoring spur to reduce tear-out on cross-grain work. Overall length is 9 1/2".Made in Germany by E.C. Emmerich to its usual high standards.Not available for shipment to Québec.
