This high-quality, Japanese-made mattock is surprisingly lightweight and well balanced for comfortable one-handed use.
The tool has a 4" long, four-tine cultivator end for digging and clearing debris, and a mattock end (3" long with a 2 3/4" wide blade) for chopping small roots and trenching.
It has a tough, rust-resistant stainless-steel head, a 14" long Japanese white oak handle with a rubber grip, and an exposed wedge that can be tapped to tighten the handle if required.
A stainless-steel pick mattock is available separately or with this cultivator as a set.
