Commonly used by utility and arborist companies, this professional tree-pruning kit is perfect for large, well-treed properties that require a reliable tool for regular maintenance.

The complete kit includes either a 12' or 18' pole, a bypass pruner head, and a 13" saw head. The fiberglass pole comes in 6' snap-together sections with aluminum ferrule ends; they are reinforced with Kevlar fiber to ensure a sturdy, lightweight shaft.

The hardwearing forged pruner head, with a 1" cutting capacity, has a double-pulley mechanism that reduces cutting effort. The true bypass blade provides a very clean cut, and the heavy-duty recoil spring keeps the blade from sticking in the closed position.

The 13" Japanese-style pull-cut saw is hard-chrome plated with impulse-hardened teeth for quick, clean cuts. A 16" saw with a wider and thicker blade is offered separately for greater cutting capacity; however, the 13" saw is more than sufficient for most users.

Both the 13" saw and the pruner head come with their own pole adapter to make switching heads quick and easy (optional 16" saw has no adapter).
