Ordinary fruit juice or sugar water will draw wasps into a trap, but adding this food-based lure to the mix provides an extra attraction that they find irresistible. It doesn’t just increase the number of wasps the trap attracts, it also appeals to more species of vespids – including paper wasps, bald-faced hornets and several regional varieties of yellowjackets.

The non-toxic lure provides a more environmentally friendly alternative to pesticides.

Six packets of the dry powder are provided; mixed with a sweet liquid according to the recipe on the box, each packet is effective for two to three weeks.
