Pest-Deterring Jet Sprayer

This sprayer helps protect gardens from unwanted guests both day and night. When the infrared sensor detects movement, it activates the sprayer to discharge a five-second burst of water to ward off nuisance animals (including deer) without harming them. You can link multiple units using garden hoses to cover larger areas; the adjustable sensitivity control lets you change the distance the unit can "see" within a range of 10' to 30'. When assembled, the sprayer stands 23" above ground.

It uses only 2 to 3 cups of water per spray, an advantage in communities with watering restrictions. The energy-efficient circuits operate for up to six months (or 2100 cycles) on two AA batteries (you supply). Assembles quickly without tools, and comes with quick-connect adapters for hose connection.
