With this pot, it’s easy to monitor the progress of a small crop of potatoes, taking the guesswork out of deciding when they’re ready.
The pot-within-a-pot design lets you lift out the inner container to check progress beneath the soil. You can harvest a few potatoes at a time without disturbing the plant, leaving the rest to continue growing. Depending on the variety, potatoes typically mature in 90 to 120 days.
Made of UV-resistant polypropylene, the pot measures 15 1/2" in diameter by 12" high and has markings in the base that can be drilled out for good drainage and aeration. With a 28 litre capacity, it holds two or three plants for a modest harvest.
