Easy to use, these mats help keep hanging baskets and planters moist, reducing the need for frequent watering. They are treated with a potassium-based copolymer that absorbs and stores over 200 times its weight in water. Simply place a mat in the bottom of a container and soak it before adding soil and plants; the mat slowly releases moisture as the soil begins to dry.
The 7" × 7" mats come in packages of six, and are appropriate for indoor and outdoor use with baskets 10" to 12" in diameter. Not for use with food plants.
