XB315 - Wool Pellets, 350g
Highly absorbent, these sheep’s wool pellets expand to take in and store 3 1/2 times their weight in water. They slowly release moisture as soil begins to dry, helping roots stay hydrated longer.
Suitable for use indoors or out, the pellets are a practical choice for container gardens, raised beds or in-ground plantings, particularly where soil dries out quickly. When applied as a surface mulch, their coarse texture makes the area less inviting to slugs. Fully biodegradable, they release nitrogen and carbon, enriching the soil and helping it stay loose and workable.
The wool isn’t washed or bleached when processed into pellets, so you may detect a slight “natural” odor when you open the package.
