For use in hollow or solid wall materials, the two-part construction adapts to voids in a wall by expanding, folding or coiling as a screw is driven through, creating a sturdy anchor with excellent holding power. Made from tough nylon, the anchor won’t collapse when tapped with a hammer, and rigid fins along its length resist twisting once seated.
The kit contains 150 anchors with matching screws: 50 each of 5mm × 25mm, 6mm × 30mm and 8mm × 40mm diameter anchors, along with 50 each of 35mm, 40mm and 60mm (about 1 3/8", 1 1/2" and 2 3/8") flat-head Phillips screws, all supplied in a 10 3/4" × 5 1/2" rugged polypropylene organizer case.
Anchors are made in Germany and are also sold separately in boxes of 50 (with screws).
