This mechanism, which works much like the old-fashioned letter presses, is powerful but easy to control. It cracks shells with controlled pressure so it does not crush the contents.
Made of polished cast brass with a threaded brass mechanism, it comes with a mounting bolt. You can turn the cross handle and bowl to make a finished gift, or give the nut cracker mechanism to a hobbyist for inspiration and practice on a turning project.
